fall flannel

I have been really loving this cute little flannel I picked up from Nordstrom lately! It is perfect to pair with a pair of distressed jeans or even a white crop top with leggings. This outfit is perfect for fall since the turtleneck is so cozy and warm, you don’t need much else! I wore this outfit yesterday to run errands and go shopping and I loved how comfortable I was while still feeling put together. Also- yesterday I got bangs! (Not pictured, this outfit was shot last week). I am obsessed with them. Check out Monday’s post to see how they turned out, or check out my Instagram/Snapchat. I was really itching for a change but did not want to cut any length off of my hair or change the color so bangs it is! And I had major envy after seeing how amazing Cara Loren’s look on her. I have been working hard to try to get more consistent with posts and truly post every Monday/Wednesday/Friday, it’s a goal of mine to hit those consistently! I love pushing myself to keep creating, I find that this little space is so calming for me. It’s my creative outlet and…

family time

This weekend I went home to spend some time with my sister, brother-in law and nephew. It was so refreshing to get out of the city and have the chance to drive straight to family. When we were living in Texas, going home was very difficult and always was such an expensive weekend. Now, we are only 5.5 hours from our nearest family which is absolutely amazing. We had quality time to go shopping, eat dinner and just hang out without the distractions of having to be somewhere at a certain time. My brother came down for one night as well to hang out and then the last day I got to meet up with my brother-in law and his girlfriend so it was such a great trip! My nephew is going to be 2 in Febuary and is the cutest, most loving and charasmatic little guy ever. We started out by going to get coffee and bagels at Gotham Bagels, which was incredible. Sam slept on my lap the entire time as he knew that he had a long day of exploring ahead, clearly! After we got some food and much needed coffee we set out to let Sam have…

black leather jacket

Hello lovelies! First off, so sorry for being MIA. Teddy and I’s schedules were not in sync for daylight so pictures weren’t a possibility the last few weeks. I did get the opportunity to go to Madison this weekend and spend some much needed quality time with my family and my sister got some shots of the fall outfits that I’ve been saving up! I am in LOVE with this black leather jacket that I found at Nordstrom. It is perfect to wear with outfits to give it a bit of edge. I also am loving my new sunnies from Quay Australia. I hope you like this little outfit post, all the details are posted below so check them out for yourself! All pictures taken by Nicole Streeter. P.S. I wasn’t able to find the jeans to link them but they are from Nordstrom Rack.

ripped vintage tee

If you’re anything like me, you may get inspired by Kendall Jenner’s vintage wardrobe. I love how lately she has been wearing these crazy ripped oversized tee shirts with a cute bralette underneath so I decided to try to re-create this pretty out there look.  Teddy and I set out in hunt for some antiques one day and I stumbled upon an oversized old Harley Davidson shirt. I figured for $5 you can’t go wrong. If you completely do a hack job and it looks God-awful, you didn’t lose much! Now, I’m no super famous model BUT I was pretty happy with how the look came together! Inspiration:   What you’ll need: An old large tee. Scissors. Really kick-ass music playing in the background & maybe a candle to make you happy. That is all. So, I started by figuring out where I wanted the majority of the opening to be and created a little crease. After that I started to make a small cut just below the neckline and then went straight down the middle. After the middle cut was done I moved to the sides and cut along the neck line for as far as I wanted the…

wedding day// part three

I thought today would be the PERFECT day to finish up this little series about our wedding. Why? Because it is Teddy and I’s TEN year anniversary of dating today! Holy smokes. This one is a milestone! I am so excited to put together a full post on this day filled with pictures of tiny Ashley and Teddy but for today I thought I would finish up recapping our most love-filled day. All of these pictures, just like with the other 2 posts, were taken by our amazing photographer Sam Hugh. He is a photographer in the Austin, TX area and I highly (HIGHLY) recommend! Our venue was Vista West Ranch in Dripping Springs, TX and had the most perfect boho/rustic vibe. Especially for the reception which was filled with dancing, speeches, donuts and S’mores! A few things you’ll notice while browsing the pictures below: We had Urban Cowboy cater our food.  It was buffet style and included a Queso bar for the guests to enjoy during cocktail hour (yum). One thing that was so amazing that I would suggest to anyone would be to eat dinner away from the guests before everyone else. Our coordinator set us a whole dinner tucked away…
